The Knicks radio team of Ed Cohen and Brendan Brown has been sidelined indefinitely as the duo are in health and safety protocols, The Post has learned.
Cohen and Brown have been the ESPN Radio Team for the last three seasons. Brown, son of Hubie Brown and a former Memphis assistant, has been the Knicks radio analyst off and on since 2008. Cohen and Brown, in their fourth season together, have not been traveling with the team during the pandemic season but call the home games from the Garden.
John Giannone and John Wallace will fill in as the radio broadcast team until further notice, including Monday’s road game vs. the Nets. The Thunder-Knicks game on Saturday was broadcast by Kenny Albert and Alan Hahn on 98.7 FM.
MSG Network is not televising Monday’s game as it is exclusive property of ESPN and will be called by Mike Breen and Doris Burke. ESPN broadcasters are not attending games live and Breen/Burke will call the contest from home.
